Living Traditions Productions in conjunction with VSA at UCI proudly present the first Beyond the Pride Lion Dance Exhibition set to be held in Southern California on November 11, 2009. The Beyond the Pride Exhibition (BPX) will be a fun-filled event open to spectators of all ages as we bring together Lion Dance teams from far and wide, as well as other area performance teams for a day of entertainment unseen before in Southern California. As Lion Dancers ourselves, we know that pride is an integral part of the Lion Dancer life style: pride in one's traditions, pride in one's team, and pride in one's craft. Living Traditions Productions hopes to provide an open arena to display the best of our proud art form to the community.
