How Digimon: The Movie Should Have Opened!Remember that bizarre short film featuring Angel Anaconda that preceded Digimon: The Movie in theaters? It was some lame attempt by Fox (which owns Anconda at the time and was also airing Digimon on their Fox Kids channel at the time) to get fans hyped for the movie and to get Digimon fans hyped about Anconda. Well, to be honest, it just seemed... strange. I mean, why did they put this oddball comedy cartoon into a thrilling action-adventure movie like Digimon? And why they they put it as part of the movie when it got released on VHS and DVD in February 2001?!? It's weird and annoying!(Anyway, I'm glad I didnt watch this short. I'd rather watch the movie itself!)
In repsonse, here's what Digimon: The Movie should have begun if released on home video and DVD instead of that annoying Anconda short! (Notice the Disney logo at the beginning and the Toy Story segment; Disney owns 20th Century Studios, (formerly known as 20th Century Fox) now!)
I made this video with a combination of Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition. (It's pretty amazing how I can show my skills with seperating vocal with backgrounds and SFX, corner point perspectives, and recording my voices with the video!) I made this twice: once before I accidently exported the one without audio and not finding out about until after I deleted all the project files by mistake (HORRORS!); and the one you are seeing now, created all throughout the night until at least 2 AM. Note to self: Think and check twice before doing anything!
