The Mercedes-Benz F-Cell World Drive is now closer to home. It has crossed the Ural Mountains in Kazakhstan and is now back in Europe. In Kazakhstan the first small accident happened, but luckily nobody was harmed and the cars where back on the road after a short interruption. The F-Cell Drive is now crossing Russia and will cross over to Helsinki this week.

Von Moskau fuhren die 3 B-Klassen F-CELLs nach St. Petersburg und von dort ging es weiter zum noerdlichsten Punkt der Weltreise -- Helsinki. Die Wasserstoff angetriebenen voll elektrischen Fahrzeuge haben den Grossteil der 30 000 Kilometer langen Weltumrundung hinter sich gebracht. Begleitet werden die Fahrzeuge von einer mobilen Wasserstofftankstelle und einem Team von Mechanikern für die regelmaessige Wartung. Die einzige Frau unter den Technikern ist Marie Rathfeld und sie ist Stolz einem tollen Team anzugehoeren. Am 1 Juni werden die B-Klassen F-CELLs in Stuttgart zurueck erwartet.

The Mercedes-Benz F-CELL World Drive is moving west through Russia. From Moscow the 3 B-Class F-CELLs drove to St. Petersburg and will continue to Helsinki. The hydrogen powered electric cars have almost completed their 30 000 kilometer mission free drive around the world. The cars are accompanied by a mobile fueling station and a team of technicians for regular check ups and maintenance. The only female technician on the tour is Marie Rathfeld and she is proud to be part of a top team. The B-Class F-CELLs are expected back in Stuttgart June 1st.
