西武鉄道は、「西武・電車フェスタ2015 in 武蔵丘車両検修場」を開催。開催日時は、2015年6月7日（日）9:30～15:30。開催場所は、武蔵丘車両検修場。台車入れ作業の実演、保線・架線作業車やトラバーサーの乗車体験、保線機械・床下機器などの展示、非常通報体験、乗務員室見学、電車撮影会、子ども制服撮影会、鉄道模型の展示、鉄道部品の展示・販売、グッズ販売、池袋線開業100周年記念コーナーなどを実施。入場無料。鉄道部品販売会場への入場は、先着30人のみ抽選制（当日9:00抽選開始）で、以降は順次入場。また、武蔵丘車両検修場行きの臨時直通電車を運転。飯能駅～会場間で無料送迎バスの運転もあり。
