My heart skipped, but when the officer walked up, he had the most charming smile. He asked for my license, but instead of being stern, his tone was playful. He teased me about “rushing to break hearts,” and I couldn’t help but laugh. We ended up chatting more than expected, and let’s just say the tension was more flirty than scary. He let me off with just a warning, but not before making me promise to “drive safe” with a wink that made my cheeks flush. I’ll admit… I drove away smiling, thinking maybe getting pulled over wasn’t the worst part of my night after all. 😉
