“The Rhythm of My Life” by filmmakers Franck Onouviet and Marc A. Tchicot is a new submission to ÉCU 2012. “The Rhythm of My Life” follows in an unconventional way the journey of 'ISH', a former Miami based rapper, who traveled to Africa to visit his family. Little did he know that Libreville, Gabon would be the place where the project of his dreams would fall in his lap. He want to become a translator for couples, convinced that everyone is a language and that he has the faculty to understand everyone. This film is an essay on lack of communication for people who think they need to be understood. "27m2" est le gagnant du prix 2011 ÉCU "Film of the Festival". Robert Marron, le réceptionniste de l'hôtel Eldorado s'est perdu dans sa théorie linguistique.Il veut devenir traducteur-interprète pour des couples, étant persuadé que tout le monde est une langue à part et qu'il a la capacité de les comprendre. Ce film est un essai sur la manque de communication pour ceux qui pensent d'avoir besoin d'être compris.

Originaire de la Martinique, Louivi est un song designer aux multiples influences et le fruit d’un étonnant métissage (Martinique Laos/France Italie). Baigné dès son plus jeune âge par les sonorités caribéennes, il a au fil des années enrichi sa culture musicale en écoutant aussi bien du hip-hop, de l’électro que de la variété. Sa musique aujourd’hui reflète ses multiples influences musicales, ses rencontres et ses voyages. Ce titre « balança » qu’on peut définir comme de l’électro samba est un appel à la fête. C’est la fusion entre la musique de Louivi et le talent de deux chanteuses du Cap Vert Dulce Matias et Cassandra Matias sa fille.
