Pacquiao vs Larios boxing bout 2006 held at Araneta Coliseum is the most exciting pacquiao fight ever. I saw new and different Pacman defense and offense style. His right punch was obviously powerful already. And then he used an amazing side-step with his left punch left behind on Larios face.
Pacman’s fighting style used against Larios was really different from his previous fights, although those left and right combinations were still there.
Some said, (I saw it also) Larios was stronger than pacquiao. That may be true, but strength couldn’t match Pacquiao’s cleverness and rapid punches. Larios deadly weapon was only his powerful right-hook which most often missed pacman’s body, while Manny’s combinations were successfully landed on Larios body and face.
Larios was really tougher than the Pacman, however the Pacman was really better than him.
The judges scored it 117-110, 118-108 and 120-106, all for Pacquiao raised his record to 42-3-2 and Larios record dropped to 56-5-1.
