Things don't always work out the way we want them to, or the way we think they will. Sometimes we don't even see it coming. We get hit with some form of pain out of nowhere leaving us feeling desperate and helpless. That's the way life is. Still, it makes us wonder how God can let these things happen to us. How God can just stand by and watch us suffer. Where is God when it really hurts? Maybe God is actually closer to us than we think. Maybe it's when we're in these situations, where everything seems to be falling apart, that God gets an opportunity to remind us of how much he really loves us.

Indymedia videographer Brad Will was recently killed in Oaxaca, while filming the People's struggles in that embattled Mexican city. IP #230 starts with the last thing Brad Will saw before dying. We bring you about 10 minutes of footage taken from his video camera. He was filming the moment he was shot. To keep this from being any more gruesome than it needs to be, there is no on-screen notice at the moment of impact. We bring you this footage as part of our commemorative to him--he died to get these shots--but also because it is exactly what we have always promised, "televising the revolution." What does "open source" mean to you
I'm posting this out to my vloggers friends and followers because i want to put together a short video clip talking about the following subject.
Now, if you dont know anything about "open source" that's cool too - just tell me what you think it is or what you think it means to you.� Dont "gen" up on it just to look cool on video, i want honest responses.
Those that no the dealio with open source, let me know what you understand it to be, how it is relevant to you and why you use open source, on what levels do you believe in open source etc.

Well, as usual I had troubles getting lines in. Eventually I just caved and played the role myself even though it was completely out of my range. Ugh.
This clip came from hell to torment me. Or rather, Vista did. I got a new PC with Windows Vista on it. Not only does it crash Goldwave every 5 minutes, it won't let me use VirtualDub. So I get to use WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER oh gosh gee darnit. I want to throw the inventor of Windows Vista into a freezing river and watch them die a slow and painful death.
*breathes*
Because of good ol' Vista, I had to redo the BGM 7 times. SEVEN. TIMES. I literally almost gave up. I had to edit the original track a ton to fit the clip too. So if the BGM feels a little lazy, I'm sorry.

If someone said "let's put cactus, penguins, lava, big red crabs and a bunch of other stuff together" you would think him crazy. Well, here we walked it. Starting with baby sea lions and the panga in the background, on to a surreal cactus landscape, to "so cool" little lava tubes and a skeleton, our group walks over the most sublime environments.
