Madonna is in town to promote her film, Filth and Wisdom, which is the first feature film that Madonna directed. It stars Richard Grant, Eugene Hütz, and Shobu Kapoor and was filmed in London in 2007. The film premieres at the Berlinale.
Filth and Wisdom is described as a comedy/drama/musical/romance, the story features a Russian immigrant, ballet school, lap dancing, cultural revolution, poetry, night club, punk rock band, book writer, dominatrix and gypsy.

NEWS' Yamashita Tomohisa & the actress Nagasawa Masami have been filming in Hawaii for the "Proposal Daisakusen Special" which is a continuation of the drama which ended last year.
In the center Oafu and Waikiki they filmed at many famous places from beaches to churches. The drama was about being in love but never making progress but this time there's a scene where their lips meet. The producer said "The love scene between these two with the beautiful sea and sky of Hawaii is a must see".
Nagasawa said "The last scene is a happy ending. I think you'll be satisfied with it."
Yamashita comments "When you think of a marriage, the image of Hawaii comes to mind. A marriage like in dreams, by the ocean. Though I don't really care either way." It seems he was impressed by the beauty of the sea and the sky and during breaks of filming would enjoy a hobby of his, surfing.

Prison Shadows is a funny, hodgepodge old boxer movie that has all the elements of ridiculousness which fans of old film can’t get enough of. Unusual in that it shows Mexicans being attacked by white men, the film is a nonstop assault of marauding, looting, and all out battle. Raiders of Old California is fistfights, gunfights, and fights on horseback, but it’s also well acted and well produced, making it a rare joy of classic western cinema.
